HMP Wayland Prison, Griston
PDI utilities were selected by the Main Contractor Kier Construction after providing a detailed, all inclusive and cost effective design and build solution to provide the new upgraded incoming gas supply to the prison
Let us help
Wayland Prison opened in 1985, and is situated approximately 3km south of the market town of Watton.
The prison has been enlarged on four occasions since construction to include workshops and training facilities as well as an Education Department. As a result it became necessary to replace and upgrade the existing heating system from coal to gas.

PDI have been providing Larkfleet Homes with an effective single point of contact for the design and installation of the utilities supplies for our developments for a number of years now. This approach is vital to us to ensure the successful delivery of our product to our customers.
Dan Endersby – Director of Development, Larkfleet Homes
We employed PDI for this project because of their abilities to deal with the design requirements as well as the physical works on site. Despite tight timescales, PDI promptly arrived at a viable design solution for the main diversion. Their works on site were carried out in a pro-active, professional, and efficient manner too, allowing us to meet our programme commitments uninterrupted.
