Let us help
Shortly after forming the company, changes within the industry, driven by Industry Regulators to encourage increased competition within the connections market place, and, an increased demand for housing, were soon to present the Directors of PDI with a new set of challenges and business opportunities. Many requests also followed from our core client base for PDI to extend its expertise into the Utilities Infrastructure installation and commissioning discipline.
Rising to the challenge, the Directors of PDI were quick to invest, develop and expand the business to include utilities installation as part of its core business activities, taking care to retain its identity and proven track record within the Industry, whilst continuing to provide quality and service to its valued clients.
Additional resource would be key to achieving the planned development and expansion of the company, an extensive programme of recruitment and training was implemented and a pool of competent in-house project managers and site installation teams was established. PDI are proud to have been one of the first independent Utilities Infrastructure Providers to obtain Lloyds Accreditation for the installation of Electric, Gas and Water site networks.
Having formed the company over 20 years ago, the team at PDI Utilities has over the years continued to raise the profile of the company within the industry and successfully completed many projects for both National and Regional housing development companies. Our success is not solely due to our continued quality and service however, it is also because of the efforts of the company to become more influential within the Industry, enabling us to proactively assist our clients to negotiate the many complex challenges continually presenting themselves within an industry enduring constant change.
